IPPF MID TERM REFLECTION: Solidarity and Movement in the Fight Back

Type:Webinar Location:Zoom Duration:1h

SESSIONSIPPF Strategy 2028 – Wednesday, September 24, at 2 PM CET

Session Details

The Midterm Reflection Series Session on Pillar 3 Solidarity for Change will provide an honest space to examine where we are succeeding, where we are falling short, and what this means for the future of our movement. It will explore both the progress achieved by Member Associations (MAs) in forging strong partnerships with marginalized groups, such as sex workers, LGBTQI communities, people who use drugs, prisoners and migrants’ communities, and the barriers that have stalled or limited solidarity work in other contexts.

Session Objectives

  • Share evidence and intelligence on progress and gaps in implementing Pillar 3.
  • Highlight lessons learned from both successful and struggling approaches.
  • Understand the consequences of inaction on solidarity, protection, and advocacy.
  • Amplify voices from the frontlines, including youth, national leaders, and campaigners.
  • Input into clear and actionable recommendations to inform the GA’s priority-setting for 2026–2028.

Don’t miss this opportunity to share, shape and accelerate our drive towards strategic delivery in 2028.
