Call for Applications: Global Feminist Leadership Programme

IPPF is inviting applications for the Global Feminist Leadership Programme (GFLP), a new leadership journey for senior leaders across IPPF. The programme is designed to support leaders to lead with courage, care and clarity, and to help build institutions that are resilient, accountable and feminist in practice.

Across our Federation, leaders are navigating increasingly complex and often hostile contexts. From anti-rights backlash and shrinking civic space to internal strain and growing organisational complexity, this programme offers space to reflect, learn, and strengthen leadership practice in ways that are grounded in feminist values.

What the programme offers

The Global Feminist Leadership Programme is a 12-month blended programme focused on real-world application, not theory alone. Participants will take part in a mix of:

  • an in-person institute
  • self-paced e-learning
  • monthly small-group mentoring labs
  • monthly 1:1 coaching support
  • feminist mentoring
  • peer learning circles
  • virtual masterclasses with subject experts
  • a reflective leadership journal
  • possible exchange visits after completion of core themes

The programme will explore themes including:

  • transformative feminist leadership
  • transforming self and organisations
  • courage to lead differently
  • leading through change and crisis
  • movement building and digital security

Who should apply

This programme is for senior leaders within IPPF Member Associations who are ready to lead boldly and collectively, want to embed feminist values into management and culture, and are navigating complexity, resistance or change.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be a senior leader within an IPPF Member Association

  • be able to travel internationally approximately one week every two months
  • commit approximately 10 hours per month for 12 months

Please note that the first cohort will be delivered in English, with future cohorts planned in French, Arabic and Spanish.
