Overview

At a time when sexual and reproductive rights face growing threats, principled, inclusive, and courageous leadership has never been more vital.

Young people have always been at the heart of IPPF’s work. In 2020 alone, IPPF delivered 98.2 million services to young people, reaching 29.6 million clients under 25, a record 45% of all healthcare provided. This demonstrates our continued commitment to the largest generation of young people in history.

Why Youth Leadership Matters

Our strength as a global movement lies in our people including those who lead and govern it. One-third of IPPF’s Board of Trustees are under 25, ensuring that youth voices shape our decisions and direction.

We are now inviting applications from young people (under 25) active within IPPF Member Associations to join the Board of Trustees. This is your opportunity to help shape IPPF’s future and ensure our governance reflects the values, voices, and vision of the Federation we all belong to.

Who Can Apply

  • Under 25 and active within an IPPF Member Association
  • Not in paid employment with a Member Association
  • Applications especially encouraged from Central Asia, West Africa, and Southern Africa
  • Submissions welcome in Arabic, English, French, or Spanish
  • No nomination required, individual applications welcome
